We narrowed it down to three songs:
Eminem- Slim Shady
Eagles- Hotel California
Bruno Mars- The lazy Song
The ideas we have for the first song of Eminem would be a classroom setting full with an ugly teacher speaking to the children who are like young zombies and stand up randomly with clips of someone performing through the music video. The music video would grab a lot of the audience's attention as Eminem is the most well known and followed performer out of the three selected but would be the most hard to perform as the concept has been repeated by many artists after him.
The second song of The eagles - Hotel california, would be mainly story based, on a scruffy looking man who is aimlessly walking along a road unhappy, with flashbacks of his life from when he was happy with his former girlfriend. This story would have the most audience emotion as it would be sad and have a tone that makes the audience feel sorry for the main character.
The Third song of Bruno Mars- The lazy Song, this song would be probably the easiest to make as it would tell the story of a man being lazy all day such as playing his computer consoles and lying on his bed and other lazy actions. This concept is something we believe would have a comedy effect as it would show people behaving lazily.The feedback we have received from other students in our class and teacher is that The Eagles- Hotel California would be probably the best concept of a music video to create as it is completely our own idea with no help or guidance from other music videos. Also there is no official video for it to be compared to, plus we both think the concept is by far the greatest.
