Updated poster

In this picture you see both members of the band Jack in the background and Joel in the foreground, When editing we had an idea that we should incorporate both the instruments, this is also making a clear understanding of who is who.

This picture was originally our main  design for the album cover, then we decided that we could try adding different texts to male it a poster. In this screenshot it is showing a recently updated version of the poster, this version adds the '5 stars', quote and 'Coming soon' - each new addition adds to the overall quality to the poster and the work.

Here is a screenshot showing our updated version of a poster, the updated version contains the title 'How to save a life' and the date of the release for album - '20/06/14'

Audiences Response to Questionnaire

With these results we decided to go with The Fray - How to Save a Life. This questionnaire gave us a stimulus to bass our music video on and by this we knew what the audience would like to see in the music video. This determined how our poster would be and the theme of the whole music production. We decided that we would make it all black and white to give a sense of mystery, and making it seem sad.

Group Blog Reflection

During the previous week, we have been piecing together our final production of our music video by editing the video scenes together. Myself, Jack and Scott have been working hard to make sure that the syncing of our music video is in line together and then piecing together which piece of the music video goes where.

We have been looking at other groups music videos as well as the chief examiners blog in order to gain extra tips for improvement in order to achieve top marks. Our music video is extremely close to being the finished product but we are still experimenting with certain editing effects, but we are confident that our music video will be uploaded through our various social networking sites by Friday the 15th march. Our blog posts are updated regular and our group reflection blogs will be updated weekly in order to keep pur teacher and other pupils updated with our blog and progress.

Group reflection - so far

Group reflection

In this blog post we will be talking about our reflection/thoughts on our progress so far, we will be covering the video, blogger posts and our overall work!

Music video - We have recently came to the decision that our video is close to being finished, the finishing pieces evolve around the editing process - applying the correct transitions, in time with song and the overall piece. The recording process of our group is done but all that is needed now is to apply the edits to the video.

Group Blogger - So far our group is up to date on our group Blogger, we have been working on specific posts each in order to get up to date with each other, every person in our group has been working exceptionally well in the video, editing and blogger!

Examples of this can be found in the blog posts, Scott has been editing and recording our video and also having a role in our video, Jack and Joel have been participating in the video itself and blog posts.
